Egg Hunt at Emmanuel Lutheran Church

This weekend I was the mother to seven kids. In addition to my three, I kept Shade, Sage, Caleb and Javanna. Saturday we took an outing to Emmanuel Lutheran Church's first Easter Egg Hunt. It was a real nice time. They hid 800 eggs and didn't have a huge turnout so the kids were able to find LOTS of eggs filled with goodies. Here's Brayden running for another.

Inside, Von digs into the candy on the table.

Here's Shade and Caleb opening their eggs to find the prizes.

Here's Shade hunting. He found the super prize egg and won a filled Easter basket.

Before the hunt began, there were activities for the kids. Here's Sage, Brayden and Caleb coloring.

Here's Sage watching a helper match the eggs back together.

Von found a heaping basket full.

Javanna was a big helper. She kept an eye on Von and helped him while I took pictures for myself and the Tribune. She could have participated since it was for up to sixth graders, but she chose not to.
