Friends

For Fright Night 2 at the Lake Park Pavilion, Barb, Josie and Myself were passengers on the Titanic. Barb and I were survivors who got ahold of life jackets..

Josie was not. She went down with the ship looking lovely!

Kathie changed her mind at the last minute and went as a witch.

Ouch! Looks like I'm squeezing My Pal Patty too hard ... sorry Patty!

Here we are at the beginning of the night.

Fright Night 2

After a great movie about horror stars like Hannibal, Jason, Freddy, etc., at Fright Night 2, the guys did a little dance to show off their skills.

Here's a picture of Barb taken through my wine glass.

Here's Kirby and Amy on the dance floor.

Jeff entered the chili cookoff with an interesting pumpkin chili .. and this is his wife, My Pal Patty. Here's my thoughts on the chili ... tasty, could smell the pumpkin but not really taste it, which I think was a good thing for me.

Josie and I were practicing taking artsy pictures.

The loot

Here's Rolland. No he wasn't Foxy Spiderman, after Trick or Treat the kids were trying on Javanna and Caleb's wigs.

The kids collected a lot of candy, yet Brayden just couldn't share with Rolland, who I was told got two bags full of his own candy.

Von had a big party at day care today and took a tumble at the end of the day. The kids decided to try the wig on him, I think it's fitting.

Trick or Treat

Thursday was Trick or Treat night at Autumn. As you can see, Von was a doctor, Brayden a pirate and Nela a little angel.

This was the first time Kujo's co-workers and the residents have seen his family. They instantly fell in love and kept taking pictures of Kujo and Nela... and just Nela!

After getting candy from all the residents, the kids took a cookie break...arrrrr!

Von was working on his second one!

Nela passed out in the van on the way home. She's such a little angel.

Pretty Nela

Here's Nela today before church. She's wearing shoes for the first time.

The boys didn't start walking until just about their first birthday. Nela's already crawling, standing and trying to cruise at only eight months.

Misc. pics

Kujo and Nela at Brad's birthday party
Nela being fussy
Tammy and Nela
and Von ... I think I'll save this one for his 21st birthday

Brad's Bday party

Aunt Mary and Nela at Brad's brithday party this week. Sorry Brad, all the pics I took of you were too blurry.
Mary and Nela again
When you have a baby you forget to take pics of the other kids, but here's Aunt Barb, Nela and Uncle Larry
Here's the happy family (minus the other kids)
Uncle Paul and Nela seem to have made up (she doesn't cry much any more when he holds her) and Mary

Next batch from anniversary party

The Downer's slice and serve the Black Forrest Cake.

Here's a closer look at the salad.

Here's a closer look at the dinner plate. It was all delicious, only thing bad was the carrot stick was a little too salty, but everything else served was perfect.

More anniversary party pics

Here's more pics from Mom and Dad's 40th anniversary dinner at Downer's, located just outside of Newcomerstown. Kujo wasn't going to eat the flowers in his salad. I thought they were rather tasty.

Nope, he's not going to try the flowers on this plate either.

I was trying to take a cool photo but it didn't turn out to cool, especially since I cut off Kujo and you can see me holding the camera in the mirror.

Here's Mom and Dad getting served.

Kujo again ...

Mom and Dad's 40th anniversary

Tammy and I took Mom and Dad out for a special dinner to celebrate their 40th anniversary. We went to Downer's just outside of Newcomerstown.
In addition to all of us, Aunt Barb and Larry, and Aunt Mary and Paul also helped celebrate.

We were served about an eight course meal .. yummy! And we even ate flowers which were garnishes on the plates.

Here's Barb, Mary and Paul in the parlor of the restored home.

Here's Paul and Mary at the dinner table. We got to take home the flower arrangements on the table. They were really pretty.

It's Hunter!

We spent the weekend in Cincinnati for the annual weinie roast at Marianne and John's. This is their grandson and my third (??) cousin, Hunter James.

I love the crying shot .. I don't think he likes his cousin Val, he always cried when I held him and apparently I have the same affect when I take his picture too.

Here's Hunter with Grandpa John

and here's Hunter with Grandma Marianne.

Marianne and John celebrated their 40th anniversary in September and my mom and dad celebrate 40 years today (Oct. 14).
