Brayden in the church play

Sunday was the children's musical at church. Here's Brayden's star role. He did a really great job of carring the flag.
The previous picture was the morning service. This was the evening service.

We have an absolutely beautiful sanctuary (and church for that matter) but all the red carpet really affects my pictures when I have to zoom.

Here's Brayden as I walked past him before the show. I don't think he was amused that I was taking his picture in front of all his friends.

And here's my mother with the preschoolers during their evening performance.

Church

There's not much I could say about these photos other than "church" because that's where they were taken. Here's Leroy puckering up to Nela.

I just want everyone to know I don't usually take pictures during church service. This Sunday was the children's play that Brayden was in and these were shots during that special service.

Girls day of shopping

That's right. The girls went shopping on Saturday. Tammy, Hanna, Nela and myself went on a trip to Columbus. Here we are waiting to get seating at The Cheesecake Factory. Oh no, we spare no expense when it comes to eating on our trips.

Here we are seated. This is Tammy and Hanna. Hanna is drinking her $1.75 carton of milk from the bookstore across the street. It was organic.

Here's one of the few pictures you ever see of me that I don't take myself. I still look like a dork. This is me and Nela.

The hair session

There's a lot of things a girl must do to be beautiful. Brittany wanted to take a stab at doing Nela's hair, so I said sure. I'm not very good at it, but I do try my best, and I wanted to see another style so I can learn.

The first thing they started off with (after Brittany couldn't get the old style down because Nela was wiggly) was giving her a sucker. This is something that only happens with Ann and the kids, mommy don't do suckers.

She's doing pretty good, and the sucker is pretty yummy ...

Then a few minutes (and a jug of red juice later) .... no more! She didn't like it for Brittany either!

I had some other shots, but they were too painful looking to share. Just picture the previous picture 10 times worse.

After she got her new do she was ready to go...and she wouldn't let me get a good shot so everyone could see how cute she looked. Maybe tomorrow, Aunt Tammy, me and the girls are going shopping and Nela will be sporting this look!

Tatoo boy

I just love this picture of Rolland showing off his tatoo. I was going to give him his own entry on the blog, but then I had the following picture of his mom that I had to fit in somewhere. So here's Ann...

My husband!

My hubby and I got to spend the day together Wednesday. It was mostly in the car, but I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures of him looking too handsome!

Egg hunt at Mom and Dad's

OK, here's our official family Easter picture for 2008. It was so nice that Kujo actually had a holiday off that we could all enjoy together.

I had two pictures similar and I liked them both.

Yeah, it was a tough hunt at mom and dad's house.

Maybe they are twins. It was funny when they were babies, Brad and I took Hanna and Von out to eat while Tammy and Geralyn went shopping, and the waitress asked us if they were twins ... um, yep. Sure are. Identical.

Easter egg hunt at Ann's

We held our first egg hunt at Ann's this afternoon for all the kids. I took the opportunity to get an easter shot of my kids.

I think Brayden did better today than yesterday.

It was exhausting at Ann's, she has a huge front yard that's all hill.

They all ran down, but paced themselves coming up.
