This is Saquore. He's on the seventh grade football team at CHS and kicks butt. I was so proud of him Wednesday at his first home game this year. He made three touchdowns and his team beat Dover 26-24. Saquore had quite the cheering section. There were some unnecessary comments made about him ruling the game in the bleachers ... here's what I have to say ... It takes a whole team to play the game. He works hard at practice and during the game and people shouldn't hate on him. If our cheering section knew all the kids names, you'd be hearing us cheer for the boys on the line for a good tackle or block or helping the one with the ball make the touch down. We cheer for Saquore because that's our boy .. cheer for your kid like we do ours. We're loud and we're proud!
This is Tanishe. Trevor at work loved (or liked) this picture so I'm putting it up for him ... and because it's my Tanishe.
Von and Rolland had fun running around with Brayden at the game. They were making a new friend who spent most of his time under the bleachers.
Every year I take Saquore's picture by the victory bell at Stuart Field and this year is no different.
