Brayden didn't do so well at bat and was a little upset that he didn't get on base.
At one point he cried when he got out because it was a really confusing play. I was heading over to see if he was OK and another mother made it there first and consoled him and told one of the coaches to explain what happened. One of his teammates even came over to tell him it was OK. Yes, I took pictures until I could give him a pep talk.
Here he is running. When the game was over, Brayden came over to me and said he sucked. Of course I told him he was great. His coach seen that he was upset and took time to come over to give him some encouraging words. He forgot his glasses at school and we're going to chalk up his misses to not being able to see the ball.
Josie even made it out. She came from Zanesville for the big game.
I thought this was so cute. Thanks Josie for moving your foot!
There's Jim from work with his sister.
A man at one of the relay tents brought the kids over some cookies.
And when Sheldon Mencer and the choirs performed, Rolland and Von started dancing. The songs were really beautiful.
