Yeah! Nela turned one today and we all celebrated with a family party, complete with hats, horns, cake, presents and napkins! Kujo gets dad of the year award for not being forced to wear the hat!
We baked a cake and Brayden volunteered to clean the bowl!
I put icing and wording on the cake ..
tasted the icing ...
and Von was in charge of sprinkles...
...and more sprinkles ...
and nope this wasn't it but this is the last shot I got. Lets just say you couldn't see the words by the time he was done.

Wow! You all decorate the cake like we do in our house! But, forget the fingers, I lick the same knife I spread it with..........I bet everyone is happy to know that, that have eaten our cakes! LOL
She is the sweetest little one year old ever.....not spoiled one bit!!!
Did you put a Happy Ad in the Tribune to honor her Bday?
Did you bring the leftover cake into the Tribune? Do you still have any left......it is making me hungry!
Sorry Valerie, there's no leftover cake, that was a week ago :.) The boys had a blast making it so maybe they'll make a special tribune one and I'll lick the knife so you feel at home.
