Pumpkin Party 3

Sunday was the third annual pumpking carving party (modified). Three years ago former Tribune girl Rachel wanted to have a pumpkin carving party with friends and kids. She planned it, I offered my very large kitchen.

The next year, Rachel had moved on but Josie and I wanted to keep the tradition going (this is Miracle and Maleke painting) so we planned another bash and held it in Josie's garage. It was really cold out that day.

This year, the weather was in the 90's and we held it outside at Josie's house. Our modification this year was since we were holding it earlier, we'd paint the pumpkins instead of carve.

It wasn't too messy at all and I think the kids enjoyed it more than carving ... since all they really got to do was scoop out the goop.

This year we had quite a few more kids and it was great. There was my three and my niece Hanna, Ann's boy Rolland, Nichole's kids Taylor, Blake and Tayla, and Miracle, Maleke and Kodejia (sorry, I think I've forgotten how to spell her name after all these years)
